Chamber Type Forging Furnace
SHIVANG FURNACES has built a large number of fuel-fired and electrically heated Chamber Furnaces & Forging Furnaces for reheating and heat treatment applications over the past two decades.
SHIVANG FURNACES offers a full range of Chamber Type Reheating and Heat Treatment Furnaces to steel mills, heavy structural manufacturers, forging shops, foundry cast houses, and other metal industries, with a temperature range of 2000°C to 1350°C.
These Chamber Type Forging Furnaces can be provided with vertical rise-and-fall type doors with electro-mechanical drive systems. Materials are loaded onto the hearth of the chamber furnace using a manipulator, robot, or manually with tongs, depending on the size and weight of the material. After the reheating or heat treatment operation, the material can be unloaded using the same machines.
Chamber Type Forging Furnaces can also be offered with grooved hearth construction, suitable for loading and unloading material with the help of fork-type hydraulically or electro-mechanically operated machines.
Description
The furnace can be provided with electrical heating through heat-resistant strip, wire, or rod type heating elements located along the side, back walls, or roof of the furnace. The heating elements are suitably divided into a number of heating zones, with each zone having its own bank of heaters. These heating elements can be controlled through contactor or thyristor-based control philosophy using PID controllers.
SHIVANG FURNACES Chamber Type Forging Furnaces are lined with ceramic fiber modules/blankets or dense firebricks backed by insulation bricks on the side walls, roof, and door. The hearth of the furnace is provided with a combination of high/medium-grade alumina bricks backed by insulation bricks to minimize the skin temperature.
The Preheating Furnaces are heated either with natural gas or electrically, depending on client requirements. SHIVANG FURNACES offers one of the most comprehensive heat treatment furnace and preheating furnace lines on the market.
